Will be designing the site for upcoming vegan takeout joint Life on Mars. Helmed by former Atomix owner, Adam Paul, this is an idea the world (and particularly Logan Square) is ready for. This is also my first restaurant site, and I'm excited to see it, er, take off.
Was invited to be a tester for the Expression Engine 2 beta. Though EE has long been my PHP content management system of choice, the fact is it looks a bit stodgy in comparison to the more versatile systems out there these days. EE 2 has been in development for a while, and I'm excited to see what it brings to the table.
Joined the latest round of EPIC, a Chicago organization that brings creative professionals together to aid local non-profits. I'll be working on a revamped website for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) of Cook County. My team includes, among others, Rick Valicenti and the team from Thirst. There's already some exciting ideas in the works.

After months of work, ContentNext's integrated redesign is live. My congrats to Jamie Poitra, who led the process.
Very happy to note that Smashing Magazine recently included Blueeyes in its roundup of 40 Amazing Online Photography Magazines
Having fun working on an Expression Engine module that allows automated assembly and scheduling of HTML newsletters via the Mailchimp API. The module is a feature of paidContent's new site, but I hope to release a standalone version sometime in the future.
Launched JensenLarson.com, the new site for photographer team Jen Sens & Eric Larson. Featuring multiple custom Flash galleries, complete e-commerce integration with Photoshelter, and an entire image-based gallery editing system behind the scenes, I'm proud to say the site is a blueprint for what imaging professionals' sites can and should be. Check it.
Launched WillHart.net, a portfolio for (you'll never guess) sports/film/television photographer Will Hart. The site features a bold-looking Flash design concepted by Chris Vivion and drag-n-drop editable via a custom CMS built by yours truly. Also some really cool on-set pics of the Sopranos cast. Fuhget about it.

Created a business card for NYC-based private chef Eugene Edele.
Come 2008, I'll be working as head developer for ContentNext. ContentNext is an independent media and information company based in Santa Monica, covering the business of digital media. The company operates a number of award-winning sites including paidContent.org, mocoNews.net and contentSutra.com, all powered by Expression Engine.
Seth Bro (that's me) has relocated to Chicago. I love my new space in the Pilsen neighborhood so far, & am looking forward to many new opportunities and experiences. My old friend/new roommate Chris Keener & I plan on using the loft as a part-time gallery space as well, come spring and loosely titled "Cost of Living."
